Lava, Helicopter, Waterfalls!

Today I went to lots of different things including a helicopter ride, water alls and lava!  I'll start with the waterfalls.  We went to the Akaka Falls and the Kahuna Falls.  It was very humid but it was worth it !  Here are some pictures .  I think I saw the biggest bamboo I'm ever going to see in my life!  It was so peaceful and cool.  Next I'm going to talk about the helicopter ride that my Dad and I went on.  It was almost too wonderful to say in words so I 'm going to put in lots of pictures!  That view, everything about the ride was almost perfect.  The only thing was that it almost tipped entirely on it's side and we went in a bunch of circles.  Later we went to a empty lava tube and we got to walk right through it.  At nightime when it was dark, we went to see lava flowing.  We had to wear runners, bring flashlights and water.  We walked out on the lava rock a long ways before we could see the lava.  It was really spectacular. Afterwards we had to drink our water because there was lots of sulphur dioxide in the air.  Scroll down to see more pictures and a video.
